Make any sense to you? Well this is my girls language up to a few weeks ago.

(In case you didn’t get it she’s counting to ten.) Six and seven have combined to form sicasicasica…not sure why but for now it’s quite cute. Since then more and more words have joined her other nine (ten.)

Weyd, Yeo, Peek, Gwee, Orig, Veeolet, Blu

Not to mention her letters, she now knows the vast majority of the alphabet and can recognize them meaning she walks around pointing out ‘Vee’ ‘Ess’ and ‘Atch’

So she can’t say Mama, hello or anything really functional but you won’t hear me complaining after almost 3 years of waiting I am one happy Mama with a very clever little girl!

PS Speech and language still won’t see her grrrr

  1. I can feel your delight. How wonderful! A friend of mine has a boy who is autistic and he isn’t speak much until he was around 5 I think. I hope each day brings more improvement and one day you get to hear the most prized word of all.

  2. I could have written this post, your daughter sounds just like my little boy. Turned three in May and something has clicked and we are getting letters and some words. Never a MUM :0( but never give up hope. I’m so glad you linked this with Small Steps Amazing Achievements, I can’t wait to get to know you all better.

    1. Wow, girlie was 3 on May 27th! They do sound similar (language wise) in all other aspects she is like a fairy who floats around in a little daze, unless you take the ipad/iphone off her then she turns into a little monster haha
