The most purple smoothie
Purple is a great colour, children just think it looks lovely but as a parent you can almost see all the vitamins and minerals bursting out of it. A quick breakfast packed with vitamin C, potassium and calcium to name a few.
200ml semi skimmed milk (half fat)
1 large banana
1 large cooked beetroot
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
50ml double cream
Blend everything together and serve.
This couldn’t be easier! Just remember to cover the container as you blend because nobody wants to try and get beetroot off the ceiling…or their face!
